I can't say enough good things about this watch. It's very handsome in person and super fun.Without getting into it at length, I've read online a few complaints:- Weak lume- Strap is annoyingWell the lume is just fine and the strap is a butterfly strap and rubber. Easy to use and common on higher end watches.Many good things about this piece.

I don’t agree with the other one-star review. Yes, this is a quartz watch with a higher price tag, but if you go shopping for ANY retro watch from a micro-brand with the provided specs, you’ll end up within the same price range.Here are the positives:-Meca-quartz movement (second hand beats 4 times per second, providing a somewhat rigid sweep). Meca-quartz can give the benefits of automatics without the hassle of tuneups and mechanical mishaps. A simple battery switch fixed most problems. And, in reality, quartz is far more accurate than most other movements (though I am an Automatic guy).-Sapphire crystal-Decent 40mm case that’s not too small, and not too large. This coincides with a 20mm strap that isn’t too large.-Retro Bulova design that’s true to its original. Bulova is full of amazing heritage pieces begging to be reissued.-Screw-down crown will keep watch safe under most circumstances when exposed to water.Cons:-The strap has a couple faults. 1) The keepers are too wide, and therefore, don’t stay put, which is the very purpose of them! 2) The adjustment hole placements are too far apart, resulting in a fit that’s either too loose or too tight. I suggest looking in to alternative 20mm straps for this watch. Get a metal and leather/ rubber for fun swaps!
