I like the clock very much. I like the smooth, quite second hand. I would have liked if the hands were black to match the numbers and make it easier to read.

The clock is very well designed and seems sturdy. Time will tell if it's reliable since it was only purchased about one month ago. The hands are shiny silvery finish with angular two-part sides. The light reflection on the handles can make them hard to distinguish against the pale white background of the clock. Otherwise it is totally silent.

Love this clock! But description is misleading about wood tone color, its not expresso color at all. It is walnut, and seems well made and sturdy. It is much lighter wood tone, like medium/dark walnut color. Love the smooth moving second hand too. Does not produce clicking second hand sound at all. Its a keeper!

Clock arrived as described, and as expected. Size as described, and suits the space we had anticipated to hang it very well.Only item of note is that the second hand mechanism makes an audible tick every second.

Beautiful clock, nicer in person than the picture. A little larger than I expected, but fits great on my kitchen wall, and easy to read. It really complements the kitchen decor, with cherry wood cabinets and stainless appliances. This is not a flimsy plastic clock that you see all over in stores!

I purchased this clock after our original one of the same died...it was 11 years old. Bulova has improved the visibility from it's previous version by making the background not so white...it's more of a cream color...but the hands are still silver and a bit hard to see. It's a nice looking clock though.

Super watch, looks great but all the other reviewers are right - the hands are silver and it becomes really hard to tell the time. I solved this by sticking a black glow in the dark paper on to the hands. Now I can tell the time in the day and at night.

Should have listed to reviews, but loved the styling and still do. You cannot read the time at all angles because of the silver hands. But I was able to carefully dismantle and paint black tips on the ends of the hands, but was very little help. Still, I kept it because it is great looking.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Mom's new redesigned kitchen. The clock ended up not fitting in the space where it needed to go but we found another spot in the house for it because it is so attractive and well made and it looks perfect. It was also a great value for a Bulova. Very happy with this purchase!

Love this clock. Has very clean lines and is easy to read. Has a nice ticking sound, but maybe a little loud if you are very sensitive. The last clock I ordered., an atomic clock, only lasted a couple of years so I hoping since this is a bulova that it will last longer.

I was pleasantly surprised as to the size and quality of the clock. It works well with the overall interior design of my living space I have a Herman/Miller desk from the early 1960's and the walnut finish goes well with my desk. I am very pleased but disappointed that it was made in China I suppose I shouldn't be too surprised. Oh well. Overall a great wall clock for the price ($50) I just hope it will last more than a couple of years.

As others commented, the hands, being silver, were very difficult to see in cetain light. I did not read the reviews until I had ordered it so I waited to see how it would work. Couldn't see the time in my kitchen. Well I liked the clock enough to try this: Took the back screw out and removed the back very carefully. Then with a black "Sharpie" I painted or colored in each ( hour, minute and second ) hand. Then I put it back together, and now it is perfect. The combination of wood and metal makes it fit in in my old fashioned eclectic kitchen, or so I think. The size is excellent for viewing (now that I can see the hands) from anywhere in my 15 x 15 foot room.

The clock is very pretty. It looks great on my wall. The one problem I have with it is that it is sometimes hard to read the time because the hands match the background a little too close (thus the 4 stars). But I really like the clock.

Very nice looking clock.This is my second Bulova wall clock.My only criticism is that hands of the clock are light colored like the face of the clock which can make it a bit hard too read the time.

I really love this clock, It shines elegantly in the living room, and merge excellently with the furnitures.I like the combination of glass, wood and aluminum.I would like the hands with fluorescent details for better view, specially in the night.I do not recomment for rest rooms because of the tick sounds.

This clock seems well constructed and is keeping good time.However, the one fault is that the color of the hands too closely matches the color of the clock face. This makes it difficult at times to see the hand position depending on the light in the room and where you are viewing the clock from.
