Exactly what you expect. Beautiful dial, easy reading thanks to the black hands. Good gold plating, bright but non excessively. Bad bracelet, like all others Seiko 5s.

There is a faint grid pattern on the dial which is fabulous, 7 inch wrists and under it looks great.I have a soft spot for gold colored watches, and this does not disappointOnce again looks like this watch was a return.This has happened to me a few times now with the Seiko watches.Fine for myself but I would not consider it to be giftable.

Dal vivo ancora più bello....arrivato addirittura molto prima del previsto....unica cosa ho messo 4 stelle e non 5 per il semplice fatto che il cinturino non vale il valore dell'orologio stesso non si riesce neanche a togliere le maglie per stringerlo ...infatti ne ho ordinato subito un altro modello ....per il resto lo consiglio perché l'orologio parte quadrante e finiture è veramente bello

Although I had this watch for only about a week, so far it seems to keep extremely accurate time. Also the day and date seem to be working properly. When I first got it, I set the time to my computer and have been checking daily to see if anything has changed. So far the watch is dead on !! I wish the hands were slightly bigger, but its no deal breaker. I changed the cheapo steel gold band to a Tan 100% leather band, because I wasn't able to adjust it without removing some links even though its supposed to be adjustable ? . I have taken this watch with me to the shower with no ill effects, I have slept with it on and it just keeps, keeping the time. GREAT, great watch, but cheap band. I appreciate the size which keeps the watch hidden under my shirt sleeve.

El diseño es lo que vale la pena de este reloj: el patrón de la esfera, los índices y manecillas (con esos márgenes grandes), le dan un estilo retro.Lo malo del reloj es el extensible; casi todos los seiko 5 fallan en esto, pero este por conservar el diseño retro no tiene cierre con botones, solo cierra con broche a presión, lo que hace que se sienta más barato, algo a considerar ya que este reloj suele estar más caro que otros seiko 5 más nuevos.

My dislike of this item only one months use then stop

I own several Seiko watches and I am extremely happy with their quality. This particular watch fills the gap ijn my collection for a gold colored dress watch. I especially like the grid pattern n the watch face.

Got this watch at a great price as a replacement for my old digital watch. Very impressed with the design, the size, self winding and how sturdy this watch has become. Spent four hours chipping away at ice in the driveway and this watch just keeps om ticking.

I have been eyeing this watch for 2 years and finally pulled the trigger. I changed the band for a black leather strap and it looks fabulous.

This is the second unit of this watch that I have owned. The first one last for 18 years, with only two services along all this time. I used in swimming pools, for ogging, etc. and in 18 years it always worked OK. With time it became less precise and began to delay two minutes a day, more or less. The new unit looks exactly as the old one. I have great expectations.

Works great. It is almost identical to one I owned for over twenty years and works just as great. It's a really good looking watch as well.

Ho acquistato questo Seiko 5 perché cercavo un orologio dorato non troppo appariscente, dal quadrante non troppo grande per il mio polso (la cassa è 37mm) e da indossare anche fuori dalle occasioni formali. Ho trovato tutte queste caratteristiche nell'SNXL72, un modello che mi ha colpito immediatamente col suo quadrante dalla trama molto vintage, che si accosta bene anche a giubbotti di pelle o ad altri accessori dorati nell'abbigliamento casual di tutti i giorni. Il movimento è il 7S26, utilizzato in altri Seiko 5 - ha 21 gioielli (è lo stesso movimento di altri Seiko 5 con la dicitura "21 Jewels" sotto la scritta "Automatic", che su alcuni modelli non è stata inserita forse per non appesantire il quadrante) e ha uno scarto di qualche minuto al mese, un compromesso accettabile e assolutamente irrilevante per me che ho acquistato questo modello per un uso non quotidiano - devo quindi regolarlo ogni volta che decido di indossarlo. Il mio ha il datario in inglese e in tedesco. L'altro Seiko 5 che possiedo lo ha in inglese e in francese, ma non so se si tratti di un caso o se sia limitato al modello. In ogni caso, mi piace che i miei orologi si differenzino anche in questo. La luminescenza al buio è tutto sommato buona. Per togliere le maglie ho seguito un tutorial su YT, non è estremamente complesso se si hanno gli attrezzi giusti. Unica nota il bracciale vecchio stampo che va "a incastro", contro quello dei nuovi Seiko 5 che "bloccano" un piccolo perno e sono più semplici da aprire/chiudere e sembrano più longevi. Per il resto nulla da dire, un modello che richiama un po' lo stile vintage, non troppo appariscente e adatto ad essere indossato anche tutti i giorni con i giusti abbinamenti, senza risultare di cattivo gusto. Consigliato, soddisfattissimo dell'acquisto.

Bell'orologio. mi è piaciuto tanto. Forse la qualità del cinturino non è il massimo ma il sistema di ricarica a polso è ottimo. Un prodotto da conservare e tramandare per generazioni!!!!

Bought this Seiko watch to replace the one I have had for 33 years, yes 33 years, and replaced the original battery after 26 years use. Unfortunately the watch stopped working, so I decided to replace it with another Seiko. I priced this model on the *High Street" and found the model from Prime Time Shop was £75 cheaper than competitors. It is a smart looking watch, which I have had for 5 weeks, and is not showing any wear whatsoever. The only downside is that the watch is losing between 5 and 6 minutes each week, hardly a complaint, and I intend to take it to a watchmaker and have it timed and adjusted accordingly.I have awarded this watch 4 stars because of the time loss, otherwise highly recommended.

Ich hatte viele Jahre das (Gott sei Dank!) nahezu unveränderte Vorgängermodell,und dieses hatte nun das Zeitlich gesegnet. ....-Und nun kann ich mit dieser seit 1984 nicht verschlimmbesserten Uhrmeinen Weg weitergehen: und die Goldkaros auf dem Ziffernblatt sehen schöner aus als je zuvor!Die Mechanik puffert gut die Spannung, die eine lange Nacht gut überbrückt, und nie nachgeht.Allen, wenn man eine Lupe nimmt und sich die Stundenstriche etc. ansieht, sieht man die saubere Verarbeitung.Nicht zuviel, und nicht zu wenig: und das Gold glänzt herrlich!Möge dieses Kaliber noch lange produziert werden, und den Zeitgeist ignorieren! Es leben die 80iger!

I have a Seiko watch almost like this one for fifteen years, best watch for the money. Bought this one for dress & the silver for casual, for Father's Birthday, he loved it. He thought I spent $200-$300 for it. He's very happy.

ich hatte eine Automatik-Armbanduhr seit über 25 Jahren ,welche plötzlich nicht mehr funktionierte.eine Reparatur wäre zu teuer geworden,so daß ich die SEIKO XL 5 Automatik kaufteMit dieser Uhr bin ich voll zufrieden !!!

After having three watches from another retailer that din't work I went to Amazon.com to order the Seiko, It arrived on time and works like it is expected of a watch I had a Seiko years ago and am glad I returned to that brand. I can only recommend the watch.
